Yummy! Zippy! Pizazz! all describe this meal...here's the scoop:
Grilled Chicken with Chipotle Barbeque Sauce
1 cup fresh/frozen dark sweet cherries, pitted and chopped
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup cherry preserves
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp minced canned chipotle chiles in adobo sauce
1 1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp ground allspice
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
Stir cherries (fresh picked!), broth, cherry preserves (I used Smucker's Sugar Free), ketchup, vinegar, chipotle chiles (I forgot to mince), thyme (fresh) and allspice in a large ziplock bag. Add chicken and shake. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Grill until finished and turn marinade into a sauce by placing in a pan on medium heat. Bring it to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until sauce is reduced to about half (12-15 minutes). Serve sauce and chicken together.

I also baked
Sweet Potato Fries
1/2 tsp ground cumin 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt 2 large sweet potatoes (about 1 1/2 lb)
1/4 tsp ground red pepper (I used cayenne, since I had it)
Peel sweet potatoes. If you've never done this, it's like a giant carrot. Very hard! Cut in half and continue slicing into wedge shapes. The smaller, the better. Drizzle on oil. Combine spices in a bowl and sprinkle onto wedges. Stir to coat well. I also added a few spritzes of Pam Butter spray to ensure good coating. Cook at 400 for about 30 minutes, until fries are soft and cooked through. Serve with ketchup if desired. These were yummy, and you could taste the pepper...if you don't like the burn, leave it out. I also added "Happy Salt" a yummy garlic, onion, salt blend sold at Shippshewanna (I have NO idea how to spell that).
I added a side salad with raspberry vinaigrette, Feta Cheese and Greens
