This passage continues on like this in the Msg: "What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving." That's what my life's been about these past few months. To stop thinking about what I don't have and what I want, and to simply respond to the abundance that God has lavished upon me.
Sound of Music |
Isaac plays guitar and sings in our praise team at church. I really enjoy his music.
Ethereal |
The only editing I did here was to clean it up a bit. This shaft of light is totally natural and totally unexpected here. It looks like a sword of light!
Sharp |
After inspecting and weeding through some of our berry bushes, I know how sharp these babies can be! I'm so glad, though, that our raspberries, boysenberries and blackberries are all doing well after their 1st year in our home.
Beautiful on the inside |
This is my friend, Shirley. She faithfully comes to the Ladies' Sunday School class, where I've gotten to know her in the past year. She is full of the Joy of the Lord, and it comes out in her words. I get the feeling that life has not been easy for her, but she is faithful to keep growing and walking with the Lord.

Great Pictures!
Yes, the message is to let go and let God take over.
Have a great week!
oooo looks like Star Wars in your Ethereal shot
I love your scripture shot, and what perfect proof of its truth!!
Jen, thankyou so much for leaving a comment for me. You have some great shots aswell. I too struggle what I want (a camera upgrade) and really appreciating what the Lord has already given me.
My guitar shot was taken outside at sunset. I placed it on a dark wooden patio table with a darkish shady border in the background. I pointed the "arm of the guitar at the sun and kept the guitar on its side. I wanted to capture the sun bouncing off the guitar strings. I know I could do it much better if I had a better lens but alas I have to be content with what I have.
Thanks again for the visit.
